HOURS OPEN:          Mon 12-4 pm, Tues 2-7 pm, Wed 12-4 pm, Th 10 am-2 pm

SERVICES:               Personal Counseling, basic first aid, medical supplies, referrals

Please note that our primary service is Personal Counseling, which helps students cope with stress, emotional problems, relationship/family problems, trauma, and destabilizing life events such as loss of housing.

For expanded MEDICAL services, such as physical exams, vaccinations, treatment for illness, and OB-GYN care, please contact our primary care clinic, located on the Laney campus, at 464-3134.  The Peralta Wellness Center at Laney serves students enrolled at ANY Peralta College.  No insurance is necessary and services are supported by the Student Health Fee.  See the attached Peralta Wellness Center flyer for more info.

Lastly, we're proud to offer the following recurring health events to all Merritt students AND staff:

Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting - Every Tuesday at 2:00 - Bldg R, Room 23

Free HIV Testing - 3rd Monday of Every Month - 12 Noon to 2:00 pm - Quad

Did you know that you can also get medical care at the Laney Clinic?

The Peralta Wellness Center - Laney Clinic is open 9-5 Mondays and Wednesdays on the 4^th floor of the Laney Student Center.  Call 464-3134 for appointments.
